Rainbow Dancer is the premier gay cruise of
Puerto Vallarta. Part of what has made these cruises so special is the
yacht itself.
Rainbow
Dancer is a Hans Christian 41 Traditional sailing yacht. She is on
an extended stay in Puerto Vallarta as part of a very long term trip around
the world. Rainbow Dancer left San Francisco Bay on July 1, 1995, and
has flown the gay flag aloft ever since, cruising most of the pacific coast
south of San Francisco, California, to Ixtapa, Mexico.
On deck she is a very traditional sailing yacht, including
teak decks, bronze hardware, boom gallows, butterfly hatches as well as more
modern hatches fashioned in bronze, modern rigging hardware, and stainless
safety equipment.
Inside, below deck, Rainbow Dancer is a luxury class
vessel, including marble counters, lots of brass and bronze and beautifully
varnished teak. Her galley is fully equipped, including gimbaled stove,
oven, microwave, deep stainless steel dual sinks, dedicated freezer as well as
large separate refrigerator. Our trips include a full gourmet menu that
is prepared here by our ship's chef. A trip aboard Rainbow Dancer
includes an opportunity to see a yacht galley in full swing.
