Banderas is largely undeveloped and profoundly deep. One of the
largest bays in the world, it is teaming with wildlife - dolphins, manta rays,
turtles and even humpback whales in the winter mating season. Much
of the bay's coast is completely inaccessible by road, creating a form of
protection against development. This beautiful remote
coastline is mountainous, lush with jungle and plunges spectacularly into the ocean. Scattered
along this coast are small remote beaches.

Hidden Paradise, a gay resort on an isolated beach within the wilderness area of
the bay.
